Three Wishes

So here it is….my first blog. I’m finally free of the intimidation that has kept me from posting until now. I have no idea why it has taken me so long to get into it…it’s so like me to be a blogger.

I have never had any trouble being passionate about anything or sharing my feelings with anyone who cares to hear them…see 5th grade writing assignment.

Ah…if I only knew then what I knew now…

I’d keep wish number 1 but I’d revise number 2 trading the guards and mansion for a house that’s paid for in a climate I loved with kids running all over the place and number 3 for a tiny family business to with no ties whatsoever to evil corporate America. I certainly should have known even back then that I am far to squeamish and way, way too empathic to look at poor suffering animals and their guts all day….what was I thinking…but hey 400 dogs, 400 cats, 50 raccoons and 80 turtles…that’s pretty impressive.

The best part of this childhood treasure – is the cursive writing on the 2nd page….that’s my 10 year old feeble attempt at forging my mom’s signature….I didn’t say I was a saint!!!!

First of all...I am so glad you are blogging...you have wonderful things to say.
Second...OH MY GOSH...I love that you have that piece of paper from the 5th grade...it was hilarious! I love that you wanted 14 leprechauns and their pots of gold. So creative, even at 10:)
